AVIKO Onion rings
skewers

Sweet and sour sauce:
8 tablespoons of tomato passata
2 tablespoons of corn flour
1 cup of sugar
1 cup white wine vinegar (or honey vinegar)
2 cups of water

To decoration:
a handful of roasted white and black sesame seeds
chives
a few cherry tomatoes

Prepare Onion Rings according to the information on the package - either in a fryer or in the oven.

Sauce:
1. Dissolve corn flour in water.
2. Add tomato passata, sugar, vinegar and water with flour to the pot.
3. Stirring constantly, cook the sauce for 7-10 minutes.

Thread the Onion Rings (3-4 pieces) onto skewers, cover them in the sauce and sprinkle with sesame seeds and chopped chives. Decorate with cherry tomatoes cut in half. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Good advice:
Before stuffing the sticks with rings, you can place them in cold water for a few minutes - it will be easier to stuff them :). Similarly, you can prepare skewers from onion rings and our mini Rösti pancakes.
