AVIKO Churros with chocolate caramel and anise
AVIKO Churros
4 tablespoons of white sugar
1/4 cup of water
100 ml of whipping cream
2 tablespoons of butter
2 cubes of dark chocolate
about ½ teaspoon of ground anise
1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. Place the churros on baking paper and bake for about 7 minutes.
2. In the meantime, prepare chocolate caramel with anise. Pour sugar into the pot and spread it in a thin layer all over the bottom. Heat over medium heat without stirring until the sugar dissolves and begins to turn brown. When it reaches a brown color, add water (be careful, it will splash!) and stir vigorously until the sugar dissolves. Cook for a minute, then add the cream. Heat gently for 2-3 minutes, remove from heat and add chocolate and anise.
3. Mix until all ingredients are combined. Once it has cooled slightly, pour it into a jar.
4. Serve churros with hot chocolate caramel with anise.
