AVIKO Potato pancakes with horseradish-beetroot sauce and smoked trout
AVIKO Potato pancakes
2-3 grilled beets
2-3 tablespoons of thick sour cream
1-2 teaspoons of horseradish
1 apple
juice of ½ lemon
½ bunch of dill
salt and pepper to taste
1 smoked trout
½ bunch of fresh dill
Grate the beets using small pieces. Peel the apple and cut it into small cubes. In a pan, heat the beets with apple, cream, horseradish, a bit of lemon juice and ⅓ cup of water. Season everything to taste with salt and pepper. Heat the sauce for about 5 minutes.
In the meantime, fry the potato pancakes according to the instructions on the package and peel the smoked trout. Pour the sauce generously over the fried pancakes and place the trout on top. Sprinkle the fish lightly with lemon juice and sprinkle with fresh dill.
